Performance Dates

Mirrors
Based on the work of the best-selling poet, Jelaluddin Rumi, Mirrors fuses dance, theatre, poetry and video to reflect on the self-destruction of modern society, its rebirth, connectivity through relationships and self-discovery. Rumi’s work requires us to ask ourselves: “who am I, what am I living for, and what is my purpose in life?”

Unraveling Bill
Originally performed by CDE in 2006, Unraveling Bill tells the story of Theresa Blake, whose brother William commits suicide after returning home from the War in Iraq. Told through Theresa’s point of view and William’s journal entries, the story demonstrates the emotional impact of suicide on a family, as well as the aftermath of war on a soldier.

Path & Llorando
Inspired by a musical piece from the David Lynch classic, Muholland Dr., this duet performance reflects the paths we walk with our life partner.

“And you? When will you begin the journey into yourself?” -Rumi
